Synergy
Synergy Movement Workshops Inc. was established in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1971 under the direction of Linda Rubin. Professional workshops, classes and public performances were offered in all forms of dance with a focus on the synergy of dance, theatre and music. From 1982 to 1993, Synergy was located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, and continued to offer training and performance in modern contemporary dance. Since 1993, Synergy has been located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and the company has focused on the development of educational resources for the advancement of dance in education. Director and choreographer Linda Rubin continues her work in professional theatre, dance and education and offers her expertise for special workshops and teacher In Service training on The Creative Dance Keys program.
